North Sydney Credit Union Bursary Program

North Sydney Credit Union Bursary Program recognizes the contribution of our community builders of tomorrow. The growth of North Sydney Credit Union exemplifies the achievements of people working together in their own communities. We hope to encourage those qualities of good citizenship and co-operation.

Each year, there are three bursaries awarded at a value of $500.00 each. 

To be eligible, you must:

• ensure the application is forwarded to the office of Memorial High School by the application deadline.  Application deadline is May 1st. 
• be a Canadian citizen
• apply the award toward expenses for full-time training at any accredited post-secondary institution (technical or university)
• be a member or the child/grandchild of a member of North Sydney Credit Union
• be a graduate of Memorial High School during the spring or fall of the current academic year
• be chosen on behalf of your school. *The school must foward a list of applicants to North Sydney Credit Union for confirmation of membership.

Applications are available at Memorial High School in January of each year. 

Atlantic Credit Unions Bursary Program is also available to Nova Scotia Community College students each year.
